Vyrnwy Cottage is the larger of our two holiday cottages, and is named after the River Vyrnwy, which runs through Newbridge Farm. It has two twin bedrooms plus a double sofa bed in the lounge, so it can sleep up to six and is ideal for families, couples or groups.
The holiday cottage’s décor is traditional and comfortable, with light, airy rooms, oak beams and a period fireplace. The lounge is decked out with comfortable sofas, so guests can relax after a busy day exploring the countryside. Vyrnwy Cottage also boasts a log burner, lending the self-catering cottage a homely, cosy atmosphere and warming the room on even the coldest winter’s night.
The self-catering holiday cottage includes:
- Bathroom with shower and bath
- Towels and bed linen provided
- Central heating provided green acredited biomass boiler and log burner
- Solar panels for lighting and hot water
- Cot/high chairs can be provided
- Parking spaces to the rear of the cottages
- Shared utility room with Banwy Cottage, including washing machine, dryer and sink
Vyrnwy Cottage shares an enclosed garden with Banwy Cottage from which guests can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Vyrnwy Valley. The garden makes an ideal spot for a picnic or barbecue.
The self-catering cottages also share a visitor’s games room, with a full sized pool table, darts board, and seating.
Vyrnwy Cottage can be booked individually, or alongside Banwy Cottage for larger groups of friends or two families enjoying a self-catering holiday together. The holiday cottages therefore are an ideal self-catering accommodation choice for groups celebrating special birthdays or anniversaries, or other special occasions. It can be booked for one or more weeks, or for a few nights for those wishing to enjoy a short self-catering break.
